Peter Graduated with a First Class Honors in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Strathclyde University. He worked as a Process Engineer Printed Circuit Board Assembly before joining Nanyang Technological University as a Teaching assistant. Thereafter he joined Motorola Electronics Singapore as an Automation Development Engineer. He first joined Temasek Polytechnic in 1996 and left for Defense Science & Technology Agency for a short while as a Project Leader. He rejoined Temasek polytechnic at the end of 2001. He has since been involved in project supervision as a Principal Investigator in robotics and teaching automation related subjects.

His professional interest and work experience has been related to robotics since his graduation. His present interest is in Intelligent Multi-agent Autonomous robot systems.

Dr. Zhang Hua

He holds the degree of B.Sc. (South China University of Technology, PR. China), B.Eng (Shanghai Maritime University, PR. China) and Ph.D (The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong). He is the member of IEEE.

Before his joining of TP, he lectured at The University of Hong Kong for 5 years and worked in the electronics industry for over 4 years. Since 1998, he has been involved in the teaching and doing applied research in the area of microcontroller & its applications. His areas of interest include: DC/AC motor control, power electronic control system, and microcontroller applications. Currently, his focus is on legged robot and control.
