Title   Wireless ATE (Automatic Testing Equipment) System

Objectives  To develop a wireless ATE system for remote data acquisition using LabView, GPIB and wireless LAN. Test parameters such as Input voltage and output currents are remotely controlled by Virtual Instrument (VI) using LabView via GPIB connections; whereas test results such as temperature measurements are sent back to the test station via LAN and stored in excel format.

Title   Development of an Automatic Testing System for Nemic Lambda Power Supply

Objectives

The overall objective of this project was to develop an automatic testing system based on the power supply that can perform the testing of the various parameters automatically. The whole system should be able to operate stably, sequentially and intelligently. As the developer of this project, the aims were to

  • Write a program using LabVIEW Software to make PCs be able to control the other instruments automatically and sequentially by GPIB card
  • Design the presentable front panel and the clear block diagram of the program
  • Integrate the individual program into a complete one
  • Integrate the separate hardware with the tested circuit

Test the entire system successfully.

Title   Programmable DC/DC Converter

Objectives

The project aims to develop a prototype of Programmable DC-DC Converter to simulate the characteristics of solar panel system.

  • Host can monitor the output of DC-DC Converter using PC COM port..

Half-Bridge module, rated for 500 Watts has been fabricated and tested at various load conditions up to 500 Watts with electronic load. The maximum efficiency observed was 78%.
