![]() | Mr Shrikrishna Shankar Kulkarni Lecturer Mr Kulkarni has been working with TP since 1994 as a lecturer. He is actively involved with Power Electronic and Energy Efficiency Group projects in Temasek Polytechnic. His expertise is in the area of switching power supplies, renewable energy, digital Control of Power Electronic Systems.
In 2004, he undertook a consultancy work with a leading MNC, Emerson Network Power (India) Ltd. as a Principal Software Consultant to develop digitally controlled UPS in the power range of up to 50 KVA. This project aimed at international market with stringent performance requirement such as very low total harmonic distortion in the output waveform with highly non-linear loads and facility to parallel up to six UPS with very low circulating currents. This product was successfully developed and resulted in the development of Paradigm range of UPS. In 2006 He joined corporate R&D of another MNC, Crompton Greaves Ltd-Mumbai to develop microcontroller based controllers for BLDC motors to be used in scooters which is a drive for clean energy initiative to replace petrol driven two wheelers in India.
He is a Senior Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. |
