The mission of RACU competency unit is to develop capabilities and applied research in robotic technologies relevant to industry needs. RACU specialises in the research and development of advanced concepts in the hardware, firmware and software of mobile and autonomous robotics

RACU’s core technological areas includes robotics navigation, path planning, obstacle navigation and optimal control algorithm, Linux, LabView, Labwindow/CVI and C based programming, DC motors, stepper motors and linear actuators applications. The RACU laboratory is equipped with the latest robotics research platforms providing applied research on legged robots, mobile robots, mechanical gripper, robotics hand and several serial robots.

2) Building Automation / Construction Sector Robotics

3) Robot assisted search and rescue technologies
