The RC (Remote Controlled) AeroModelling Club is run by a group of student enthusiasts sharing knowledge and skills in constructing different plane models, kites or even control line. The students also learn the various techniques of manoeuvering and piloting the planes, helicopter, kites from the ground using remote controls.
For this group of students, the knowledge acquired from their Aerospace Engineering course helps them in bringing the fun factor of their hobby to a higher level. In addition, they are able to apply the skills acquired from their trainings in the club when they enrol in AeroModeling competitions organised by the Singapore Youth Flying Club. There is also an annual competition called The Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition (SAFMC), jointly organised by DSO National Laboratories and Science Centre Singapore, and supported by Defence Science and Technology Agency. The SAFMC is Singapore's first and largest-scale national flying machine competition. In the inaugural competition in 2009, radio-controlled model aircraft designed and built by Temasek Polytechnic (TP) students clinched several awards in the "Fly-by-video / Automated" and "Unconventional" categories."
The RC AeroModelling Club has a Community Forum Portal managed by students themselves to carry out discussions about interesting activities, trainings and future events relating to Aero Modelling in Temasek Polytechnic.
If learning to fly or manoeuver a plane interests you, do visit the above portal regularly to participate and interact with our student enthusiasts. Most importantly, do have FUN !!

If you did not have enough of Singapore F1 grand prix, check us out at TP Remote Control Sports Club (RCSC)! RCSC is able to meet your needs when it comes to RC car racing.
We have a state of the art RCSC track located in front of Engineering Block 13. The track has a 40 meters long and straight track followed by a series of left and right turns combined with an S-bend chicane. The uneven elevation of the track surface also posts a unique challenge to the players. RCSC members will learn to develop strong mechatronics fundamentals as they build and test out the RC cars on the track.
What are you waiting for ? Hurry, start your engines now !!
