Students : S. Shahira, Norhana Ahmad and Razidah Abdul Rahim Supervisor: Gary Lee Jek Chong The Project, entitled “Inductive Loop System for the Hearing Impaired”, is built to allow the hearing-aid users to listen to desired sounds clearly in noisy backgrounds. It also enables them to use a telephone efficiently without any buzzing feedback. All digital hearing aids have a built-in Telecoil. This product transmits sound through electromagnetic induction which can then be wirelessly picked up by the hearing aid’s Telecoil, hence resulting in clearer and better quality sound for the users. | ![]() |
