To equip students with the relevant knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of systems engineering and business, in order to enable them to analyse, integrate and improve strategic processes to achieve organizational productivity and excellence.

About The Course   (JAE Code: T43)

The Business Process & Systems Engineering (BZE) course equips graduates with systems thinking, integration and facilitation skills, which are so essential in today’s market environment. Graduates will possess the unique ability to integrate both business and engineering principles to serve on cross-functional teams that drive organisations from improvement and productivity towards organisational excellence.

Core Strengths

Business Process & Systems Engineering is believed to be the first diploma of its kind in Singapore. Thus, course graduates will be among a select few who possess the vital ability to integrate both business and engineering knowledge with a “Systems Thinking” approach.  Students learn about “Process Optimisation and Improvement”, a unique module which provides an overview of concepts including the analysis of statistical control results, experimental designs, variations in processes and improvement techniques.
