| About the Course |
Singapore is a fast growing IT hub in the Asia-Pacific region. The latest Intelligent Nation 2015 Master Plan initiative by the Government has created an array of high-tech careers that require specialised computer engineering and software skills. Computer Engineering is a combination of two disciplines: electronics engineering and computer science, and it is highly industry-relevant and used in all sectors of the new economy. This course will prepare you to be amongst the few who are fully proficient in hardware and systems integration, software design and implementation, embedded systems and networking integration to become total solutions providers. With the versatility of the skill sets acquired during the course of study, you can look forward to a wide array of interesting and exciting job opportunities in the area of Electronics, Infocomm and IT industries. If you are interested to further your studies, many local and foreign universities offer credit exemptions to our graduates for their degree programmes. In particular, NTU has granted our graduates direct entry into the 2nd year of degree programmes in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronic Engineering. |  |
