Mission
Diploma in Electronics aims to produce competent and conscientious electronic technologists who will be able to meet the demands of industry, and have the ability to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to their profession.
About The Course (JAE Code: T05)
The three-year Diploma in Electronics course equips you with the knowledge and skills to handle electronic devices, circuits and systems. You will acquire the necessary core competencies in the areas of computer programming, computer networking, microcontroller, embedded and control systems, as well as telecommunication principles. Besides being technologically competent, you will also develop effective communication skills. These industry–relevant competencies will adequately prepare you to secure a good career.
Moreover, you will take pride in your ability to learn, grow and prosper in this dynamic industry as electronics professionals, through various problem-solving techniques and team concepts.
To even better prepare you for the industry’s advancements in technology, you will be given the choice of one of the following Options during your 3-year studies, each of which comprising three or more subjects:
Electronics Cluster
- Networking
- Robotics

- Aerospace Electronics
- Business
*Note:
Aerospace Electronics & Business Option are offered to students only for the April intake of each year.

T05: This is a common JAE code for the 4 ETCM (Electronics, Media & Communication Technology, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics) diplomas. You can opt for Diploma in Electronics at the end of the common first year.
