Japan Students Exchange Programme (JSXP) 2008 held in Singapore

The annual Japanese Students Exchange Programme was held on 28 September to 2nd October 2008. To show our hospitality towards our guests and to perform our duty as a host, E2Matrix students' leaders had been busy preparing and training student's helpers for this event.

After putting much effort into this event, the program finally ends with a high note with singing, tears and gift exchange on the very last night of the event. All our students greatly enjoyed this special occasion.

NTU Campus Visit 2008

A Visit to School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

About 50 AE stduents and 7 staff visited NTU School Of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The professor gave us an overview of the courses in NTU and some of the requirements of entry for TP students. We were also guided by the NTU staff to tour around their facilities and Hall Of Fame. We are all impressed by their advanced laboratories and facilities. It is certainly an enriching trip for both staff & students.

Japanese Cultural Exchange Program 2006 (in Singapore)

A group of 30 students from Kumamoto National College of Technology (KNCT), Japan came to Temasek Polytechnic for a 5-day exchange program. Our club played host to our friends from Japan. Some of the programs we organized for them included a tour to many places of interest in Singapore and even an industrial site visit to Malaysia.

Japanese Cultural Exchange Program 2007 (in Japan)

E2Matrix in Japan

E2Matrix Club Members in Japan

This time, a group of 25 of our club members paid a visit to our friends at KNCT, Japan. During the 6 day exchange program, we had a first hand experience of their way of life, soaked in their culture, visited their largest active volcano (Mount Aso), visited their castle, played games with them and ...of course put the little Japanese that we learnt in TP to good use. It had been really an eye opening experience for us. You should experience it too if an opportunity arises again!

Amazing Race

You have seen it on TV. E2matrix had been organizing this event for the last 4 years!

This is a 4 days-3 nights event outside TP. Students are grouped and then challenged to get to the various locations in Singapore. The group that reaches the final destination wins the game.

Thank You Peer-Tutoring Mentors

Every semester, the club organizes peer tutoring program for the 4 fundamental (CKT, EDEV, DFUND1, DFUND2) subjects for our year 1 students. The program is held every Friday afternoon.

Year 1 students will be coached by their seniors who had done very well for those subjects.

Peer Tutoring Mentors

What do the mentors have to gain? A strong sense of satisfaction that we had helped a fellow schoolmate....and of course a thank you from our Course Managers and Lecturers.
