Cross Disciplinary Subjects (CDS)
To give you an education beyond the scope of your diploma, you would also get to choose Cross Disciplinary Subjects (CDS) -- subjects offered by other Schools. Some of you may even do a Business Management Course or get a certificate in addition to your diploma. | |
(i) Business Management @ Engineering
Get a Business perspective with your Engineering diploma, and go further in your career! Engineering students will be able to opt for a Business Management cluster while pursuing their engineering diploma, and be trained in marketing, project management, and business fundamentals. In today’s pro-business environment, these are skills that will certainly give our engineering graduates a strong head-start in their careers! With the combined know-how of engineering and business management, students can expect more exciting opportunities for their career and further education. Learn more about Business Management @ ENG |
(ii) An Additional Certificate with your Diploma
Would you want to graduate with more than just a diploma? You no longer have to be in the Design School to do a design course nor the Business School to do a business course. Do well in the first semester of your freshman year (Year 1, Semester 1) in Engineering, rank in the top 10% of your course, and you would be eligible to select an additional certificate program in a field outside your course of study. Complete the 4 subjects in the cluster and one of the these certificates would be yours.
