Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Certificate

With effect from 16 Jan ’06, upon completion of this 3-year full-time program, students are well equip to take the optional FSM certification test recognized by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) . This certification is a ‘must-have’ should you aim to secure a job in the facility management (FM) industry as a FM professional. It may also help boost your starting salary.

What other certificates can I pursue?

^#1. Facility and Management Professional (FMP) from International Facility Management Association (IFMA), United States based and internationally recognized certification.

*2. Business Continuity Management certification from Business Continuity Management Institute (BCMI).

*3. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI), United States based and internationally recognized certification.

^# FDM has obtained in-principle approval for Recognized Degree Program by IFMA.

* Optional and subject to passing external certification examinations administered by the respective organization (examination fees to be borned by student).
