Mission
To prepare our students for the Green Revolution by equipping them with relevet knowledge and skills in the Green Building Technologies. With these, our graduates will be well prepared for the green building industry. They will become the movers & shakers in the industry, promoting and initating projects that underscore the importance of sustainability in built environment to reduce negative impacts on human health and our environment.

"Singapore to gear up for growing need for 'green-collar' jobs "
The outlook for the industry is looking bright and green. An United Nation report on "green" jobs estimated that the global market volume for green products and services last year was nearly US$1.4 trillion (S$2 trillion). This is expected to double by 2020. There is a growing demand for "green professionals" to provide their expertise not only in new but also exsiting buildings to be designed with green building features that are energy efficient.
As reported in “Today” on 28th Apr 2009, a $100-million Green Mark incentive scheme will also be set up to encourage more eco-friendly buildings. These initiatives could result in “Green collar workforce” with some 18,000 “Green Specialists” trained over the next decade in the development, design and maintenance of Green Buildings.
With the government's rejuvenated efforts to transform Singapore into a green city, a large number of professionals will be needed to fill new positions in the green building and sustainable industry.
This course equips the graduates with knowledge in the green building technologies, energy auditing skills and total building performance which are vital in today's built environment.
