About the Diploma in Intelligent Building Technology (JAE Code: T29)
New buildings today, including the Integrated Resorts and the Business & Financial Centre at Marina Bay with facilities for business, entertainment and recreation, all come with the latest intelligent features. Existing buildings are also continually being retrofitted and upgraded to meet the growing demands of businesses and people, as well as the need to conserve water and energy.
This course will allow students to tap into this growing trend, by training them to manage Intelligent Building Systems, including eco-centric designs, advanced systems, intelligent gadgets, automation, security and infocomm applications.
With the government's rejuvenated efforts to refresh Singapore's landscape, as well as the many promising property development projects in the pipeline, a large number of professionals will be needed to fill new positions in the intelligent building industry.
