The Diploma oversees the operation of the following satellite facilities in Temasek Polytechnic:

• 6-meter C-band satellite dish connected to Japan via JCSAT-3 satellite
• 2.4-meter C-band satellite dish connected to Malaysia via MeaSat satellite
• TVRO satellite system that is able to receive satellite TV programs from various satellites like AsiaSat, Palapa, MeaSat, etc.
• 3.7-meter Ku-band satellite dish
• Nera World Communicator that is portable and enables telephony services in remote locations

Various collabration projects with the industry are conducted using these satellite facilities, thus providing our staff and students with opportunities to work on real-life and industry-relevant projects.
