The RF/EMC Lab is to support the teaching of 2nd year subjects: Principles of RF & Microwaves, RF Test and Measurement and Integrated Project. It also supports a 3rd year subject, Mobile Communications. The lab is well equipped with testing instruments commonly used in the RF industry. Below is a summary of the testing capabilities of the instruments.

-	General RF testing capability up to 6 GHz
-	RF component testing up to 1.8 GHz
-	EMC Pre-compliance testing up to 22 GHz
-	VHF Transceiver Testing up to 1 GHz
-	AMPS Cellular Handphone Testing at 800/900 MHz band
-	POCSAG Pager Testing at VHF band
