The Cable TV Lab is to supplement the teaching of the 3rd year subject: Cable TV Engineering. The laboratory provides students with an opportunity to have hands-on experience working on a typical Cable TV distribution system. There are test equipment available in the lab to measure cable TV signals.

The specialised equipment used in this laboratory consists of three major portions: (a) the Headend, (b) the Cable Training Subsystem and (c) the Workbenches that simulate as cable TV subscriber’s drop.
