First Year Mechatronics students can now opt for the Diploma in Aerospace Engineering after completing their semester 1.1 (April intake only)

About the Course

You need a diploma that equips you with fundamental, flexible skills and knowledge to prepare for the future. Even in challenging times, you will have the widest career opportunities and further study choices.
We are the first mechatronics diploma course in Singapore, integrating mechanical engineering with electronics and intelligent computer control in the design of products and engineering processes. It provides you with core competencies to give you an edge in many areas such as aerospace engineering, automation, robotics, mechatronics design, programmable logic controllers, electro-pneumatics systems, vision systems, computer aided design and manufacturing, virtual reality, computer programming and microcontroller applications.

This course has 3 electives for specialization
- Aerospace Engineering (April intake only)
- Process Control and Automation
- Robotics

Please go to Temasek Polytechnic Admission Office to apply with the following JAE codes:

T06: This is a common JAE code for the 2 diplomas - MAP (Mechatronics and Aerospace Engineering Programme)
You can opt for Diploma in Mechatronics in the second semester.

T56: This is the JAE code for the Common Engineering Programme for 9 diploma courses. You can opt for the Diploma in Mechatronics in the second semester.
