Experience the multi-faceted and multi-talented lives of ENG students. There's never a boring moment at Temasek Polytechnic School of Engineering!
Temasek Polytechnic School of Engineering offers a varied and interesting student life outside the classroom. With a wide array of CCAs, including sports, cultural groups, academic clubs and service societies available, students are often spoilt for choice. First year students may also join an optional 5-day Outward Bound School training camp held at Pulau Ubin - where survival skills are acquired, teamwork is forged, and strong, lasting friendships are made. Student leaders take the lead in organizing various activities in the School. A prominent example is the launching of the Temasek Polytechnic School of Engineering tagline in which student leaders of the Engineering Studies Club planned, organized and executed a mass event for 5,000 students at Sentosa in July 2001.
Students also hold the fort in the various diplomas' academic clubs, organizing orientation activities for freshies each year. Possessing a strong sense of identity with their classmates and their diploma groups, students rally together each year to set up carnival stalls on Campus Care Network (CCN) Day, raising funds for students who need financial help. This also shows their compassionate spirit. Competitive sporting activities are also held regularly within the School, promoting meaningful interaction and healthy competition. Indeed, at Temasek Polytechnic School of Engineering, there is hardly a dull moment!
