Temasek Engineering School (ENG) aims to link up with the industry to enhance staff’s capability development and students’ learning experience. By developing partnerships with the industry through consultancy, collaborative R&D projects, joint training programmes, student internship programmes and job placements, ENG hopes to create opportunities for staff and students to be at the frontiers of new industry knowledge and trends. These industry link-up efforts also infuse a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in our teaching and learning environment.

Following the successful implementation of Competency Units (CUs) within the Temasek Engineering School several years ago, the School has expanded on the scope and functions of these CUs. This revision has enabled our CUs to assume a higher level of responsibility and commitment to our strategic partners. Students fulfill their major project requirements by undertaking projects offered by these CUs. CU projects in turn come from School, Institutions or Industrial Collaboration.
