| Purpose: | This lab provides Time-tabled and Free Access facilities to students currently taking PCBD subject in the above facility and to students doing projects requiring the use of PADs software in the current Semester. In addition, students can check for additional free access slots in EN16-2-52. |

Lab operation hour for free access is extended to 10pm during Term Time. |
In the event that labs are not available for students free access use, notices will be pasted outside the lab to inform the students, at the earliest possible time.
Rules and Regulation for using the lab:
- Students are required to sign in and sign out on the SIGN IN/SIGN OUT form provided before and after the use of the lab.
- Students are required to bring their matriculation card for identification during the free access lab session and produce their matriculation card to the Technical Support Officer-in-charge or lecturer when appropriate or required.
- Students are responsible for the lab facilities during the lab access session. Lab facilities include the furniture, computers, computer accessories and tools in the lab. Any damages or losses, prior to sign in, should be reported to the Technical Support Officer-in-charge immediately. Otherwise, they will be held responsible once they login.
- Students are to use the facility solely for their subject learning.
- No visiting of pornographic site, downloading/copying of unauthorized software and unrelated material such as games & MP3 files etc are allowed.
- No playing of computer games is allowed.
- Students are to maintain good housekeeping at all time during the usage of the lab.
- Students should tidy their work area before they leave the lab at the end of the free access session.
- Students must be properly attired with reference to TP student dress codes.
- All the Rules and Regulations, as well as Safety Rules, published in the Student Handbook apply to this lab.
- The Technical Support Officer reserves the right to disallow any student the use of the lab facility if he/she infringes any of the Rules and Regulations stipulated or if the student behaves in a manner that is deemed inappropriate.
How to book the lab?
- Usage of the lab for free access is on “First Come First Serve Basis”.
- If there is any booking required due to exceptionally heavy demand, the necessary information will be put up in the notice board in front of the lab.
- At the end of the Free Access session, students are required to logoff the workstation and switch off the monitor.
- Priority will be given to Lecturer booking for Make up Lab, courses and TSO to carry out lab maintenance.
