Location:	EN15-7-48
Purpose:	This lab provides the facilities to 3rd year students to work on their assignment in additional to their normal lab session in  Embedded Controls & Application subject.
Lab opening hours:	Monday to Thursday 0900hr to 1800hr Friday 0900hr to 1730hr

In the event of session cancellation due to maintenance or emergency reasons, notices will be pasted outside the lab to keep students informed as soon as possible.

Rules and Regulation for using the lab:

• Embedded Controls & Application Free Access Lab is opened to 3^rd year students to work on their Embedded Controls & Application projects only. Any student found doing otherwise will be asked to leave the lab.   
• Students are required to bring their matriculation cards for identification during the access lab session.
• Students must sign in and sign out to acknowledge the presence of the computers, equipment and accessories in their work area.
• Any damages or losses, prior to signing in, should be reported to the TSO in-charge immediately. Otherwise, students will be held responsible once they have signed in.
• Students must be present during their booked time slots. If the station is vacated for more than 15 mins without informing the lecturer or TSO in-charge, the booking will be forfeited.
• All students are responsible for the lab facilities during the lab access session. Lab facilities include the furniture, equipment, computers, manual, accessories, tools, etc in the lab.
• Students must behave and work quietly for the convenience of others.
• Students must be properly attired with reference to TP’s student dress codes.
• At the end of the lab access session, students must tidy all the benches in the lab and maintain good housekeeping at all time.
• All the Rules and Regulations, as well as Safety Rules published in the Student handbook apply to this lab.
• Any student/group found violating any of the above rules will be banned from using this lab for the whole semester.

How to book the lab?

• Lecturers will issue the account and password to their students and announce the free access date.
• Booking is on a “First come, first served” basis and can be made at this website : http://www-engfac.tp.edu.sg.
• Booking can be made 5 days in advance. Late bookings are allowed, subject to the availability of the lab.
• 20 stations are available for booking. Only one station is allocated to each project group during booked time slot. The maximum time given to each group is 6 hours per week. Top-up hour is subject to lecturer’s approval and the availability of the lab.
• Priority will be given to Lecturer booking for make-up lab session, courses and TSO’s booking for lab set-ups or maintenance.
